HOW WE PRICE
Where engagements start.
Three ways we scope and price — retainer, project, or formation. Every engagement written down before a file is opened.
Monthly retainer
From KSh 15,000 / mo
Scope — Books, tax, and advisory.
The recurring pillars, closed by the tenth each month. Partner-signed, all-in, no silent pass-throughs.
Audit
Per project
Scope — Scope first, then quote.
Audit breadth varies too widely for a published floor. We walk the Companies Act thresholds with you, then quote in writing.
Company formation
From KSh 25,000
Scope — Government fee plus service fee.
Registrar fees quoted in writing before we file. Pass-throughs disclosed line-by-line; never hidden inside a retainer.
Every scope is written; nothing verbal.
Start a scopeBEFORE YOU SCOPESIX ANSWERS
The questions that come after the price.
Scope boundaries, one-offs, international files, mid-year takeovers, and who signs off — the ones our partners answer on the phone, written down.
Monthly book close, PAYE, VAT, withholding, one quarterly management report, and WhatsApp access to a partner. Work outside that — audit, due diligence, formation, KRA disputes — is scoped and quoted separately before it starts.
Project by project. We walk the scope with you, agree a fixed fee or milestone schedule in writing, then file. No hourly rates, no open-ended invoices. Pass-throughs — government fees, Registrar levies, KRA penalties — are disclosed line-by-line.
Yes. Backlog clearances, single-return filings, standalone audits, and company registrations run as discrete engagements. If you later move to retainer, the first retainer month starts clean — no back-billing for the one-off work.
Yes. We hold the Kenya side — KRA, Companies Act, ICPAK — while your overseas accountant keeps the parent books. Engagements currently active across Kenya, the United States, and the United Kingdom; most are corporates with Kenyan subsidiaries.
Mid-year takeover is routine. We audit what the previous firm filed, reconcile open balances, close the current month by the tenth of the next one, then run the remaining cycle without drama. Remediation is scoped separately from the retainer.
A practicing partner — Njoroge Maina CPA(K), Edwin Maina, or Patrick Mugo. Day-to-day reconciliation runs through trained staff, but every return, audit opinion, and engagement letter carries a partner signature. Nothing leaves the firm without partner review.
